space oddity

Space Oddity was the title of a solo show at stene projects, Stockholm 2011, comining painting, collages and 3D animation.

The suite continues exploring spatial constellations from the outskirts of 3D worlds. Based on the paintings after the NURBS suite, Maja Rohwetter created the 3D animated hd video „soemthing somwhere“(2011).

In the collages, where renderings of the 3D model are combined with fragments of oil painting, mainly gestures that occur in the painting process. The paintings take up collage-specific tranisitions between spaces.
