Maja Rohwetter (*1970) has lived and worked in Berlin since 1995 .After studies in philosophy, art and Romance languages at the University of Osnabr\u00fcck from 1990 to 1992, she studied fine arts at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1993 to 1999 and at the Royal College of Fine Arts, Stockholm in 1997. After her masters degree in 1998 at the UdK Berlin, she passed the First State Examination in Fine Arts in 1999 and the Second State Examination in 2005. Since then she has been working as an artist in Berlin. Travel and residency grants have taken her to Sweden and Finland.\u00a0 Her work is shown in institutions and galleries in Europe, UK, Scandinavia and the USA. In addition to her painting, she teaches media design and media theory.\u00a0 She had been a guest lecturer at the HS Wismar and the Arctic University Troms\u00f6.<\/div>\n
She develops her imagery in a cross medial approach including painting, collage, 3D-Modeling and computer graphics.<\/div>\n
